Senior Client Consultant (all genders)

We are looking for a Senior Client Consultant (all genders) to join Mediaplus International — Europe’s largest owner-managed media agency under the Serviceplan Group – at our Munich location, with the position available for immediate start.

As Senior Client Consultant, you will join a young, international team and play a key role in driving success for global client accounts.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with key client stakeholders, as well as with international partner agencies
  • Lead project management for international governance, overseeing cross-markets projects
  • Guide central strategic governance, monitoring the quality and effectiveness of local strategies and campaign KPIs, ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
  • Prepare and present ideas, strategies, competitive landscapes and reports to senior-level clients 
  • Oversee central digital buying operations, conducting reporting and quality assurance checks across platform campaigns
  • Collaborate with internal teams (dashboarding, commercial, analytics) to address client requests, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and problem-solving
  • Mentor and coach junior team members
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and bring innovative ideas to the table

Required qualifications

  • Completed Bachelor´s Degree or equivalent diploma in marketing, advertising, media, and related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in client consulting / account management within the advertising industry or in the marketing department on client´s side
  • Hands-on experience with media planning, buying and budget management, both offline and online - with high affinity to digital and social media
  • Proven track record of managing international, complex client portfolios and delivering successful campaigns
  • Experience translating data into actionable recommendations and presentations – proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel required
  • Ability to mentor and collaborate with cross-functional, international teams
  • Business fluent in English; German or other European languages nice-to-have
