We are looking for proactive and experienced Lead System Engineer (all genders) with a passion for building high-performance IT infrastructures and leading teams to operational excellence in our offices in Munich, Hamburg or Franfurt (hybrid):

 

What you can expect:

  • You will take overall responsibility for our IT operations, ensuring high availability, security, and performance for all business-critical systems
  • You will lead and develop our IT infrastructure team (currently two engineers) across both business units and coordinate work across multiple locations
  • You will oversee the operation and strategic development of our high-performance renderfarm and optimize workflows for GPU rendering. AI workloads, remote workstation setups, and integration of tools like Unreal Engine, Maya, and microservices
  • You will ensure a TISAX-compliant, secure, and highly available IT architecture
  • You will work closely with Group/Holding IT on central topics such as Azure Active Directory, centralized logging with Graylog, identity management, and shared security infrastructure
  • You will manage IT roadmaps, capacity planning, and performance optimization across both business units environments
  • You will develop and enhance infrastructure and systems to support AI-driven and real-time content production

What we expect from you:

  • Proven experience in leading IT infrastructure or system engineering teams, ideally with multi-business-unit responsibility
  • Strong expertise in virtualization (e.g. Proxmox), high-performance networking, and GPU-based compute environments
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration, storage solutions (e.g., TrueNAS), and renderfarm management
  • Experience with security standards and compliance frameworks (TISAX, ISO 27001).
  • Familiarity with automation, monitoring, and logging/alerting tools (e.g. Graylog, Prometheus)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, hands-on mentality, and ability to manage multiple priorities across different teams and departments
  • Very good English and German skills, both written and spoken
