We are looking for an Multimedia Designer (all genders) based in Cape Town.

Your role

As a Mid-Level Designer, you will focus on end-to-end production of high-volume multimedia content, balancing creativity with speed and precision.
As a Senior Designer, you will take on a broader leadership role, driving creative initiatives, overseeing production workflows, and mentoring other designers while ensuring design quality, innovation, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities - Mid Level:

  • Design and deliver a large volume of multimedia assets across platforms (digital campaigns, web, print, video, and motion graphics).
  • Lead mid-scale projects from concept to rollout, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Optimize workflows to handle high-volume production without compromising creativity.
  • Provide guidance to junior designers on efficient use of design tools and processes.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and communications teams to ensure content effectiveness.
  • Actively explore and introduce new tools and techniques to improve output.

Key Responsibilities - Senior Level:

  • Lead the production and rollout of large-scale, high-volume multimedia campaigns, ensuring design excellence and brand consistency.Direct and oversee the work of junior and mid-level designers, providing mentorship and technical training.
  • Build and optimize workflows for efficient content production across multiple platforms.
  • Ensure the team is leveraging advanced features of design tools for maximum efficiency and innovation.
  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to align creative strategies with business objectives.
  • Stay ahead of design trends, emerging technologies, and software advancements, applying them strategically.
  • Present creative concepts and rollout strategies confidently to internal and external stakeholders.

We would like you to have

  • Diploma/Degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign) and other industry tools (Figma, motion graphics software).
  • Proven ability to deliver high-volume multimedia production with speed, accuracy, and creativity.
  • Solid understanding of design principles (typography, layout, color, motion).
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally in an agency.
  • For Mid-Level: 3–5 years of experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating campaign rollouts and multimedia design work.
  • For Senior-Level: 5–8 years of experience, including team/project leadership, workflow management, and the ability to mentor and influence stakeholders.
